Hey there, anyone out there? I have been busy reading and trying to catch up. Just wondered if anyone knows what happened to
bjfic.net? I haven't been able to access it for five days and don't know if I am doing something wrong or the site is down. Anyone have
any ideas?
denise

Ok, I don't know how to get those beautiful icons that other people have. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
To continue my journey, I managed to learn about QAF completely backwards!! First I watched on Youtube, then I found fanfiction, then I noticed that the reruns were showing on LOGO. Naturally, the first episode I watched on LOGO was 513. Figures. At that point I wondered if I really wanted to learn more, but I was obsessed. I watched LOGO and the need for gap fillers became obvious to me. The show left so much to the imagination. I did finally break down and buy the DVD set of the series. I enjoyed watching the DVD's, and came to one realization. I think this is funny. LOGO has to bleep out "fuck". Can you imagine watching QAF without swearing? It's like watching a musical without music or a horror flick without blood. It just seems wrong. So I continue to read fanfiction since it is often more rewarding that watching the actual show. But I do enjoy looking at Gale and Randy... what can I say.
Later

Well, to anyone who might read this, HELLO. My name is Denise and I live in the Adirondack Mt's in upstate New York. I have been married for 40 years (I am still amazed at this) and have two children. The boys are both married and moved away.
Anyway, that is a little of my background. Now, as for how I got here.... that is a long story. I spent that last seven years of my career as a Child Protective caseworker. Towards the end of 2007 I finally burned out, retired (early), and began playing on the internet full time. Not a very good pastime, but all I was emotionally ready for then. By staying home I mean that i virtually cut off all communication with anyone other than family. Since I live 200 miles from any family I have limited contact with then anyway. One day I wandered onto YouTube and a vid title caught my eye. All it said was "Brian and Justin - the greatest love story of the decade". Of course, I had to check it out. It was a video of Prom and that's all it took. I had never seen QAF and knew nothing about the characters. Somehow I was directed to fanfiction (probably a search engine) and started reading. I have been reading ever since. It took me several months to get to this point, but now here I am.
I have to say that I do enjoy reading daily entries by XIE. I love her sense of humor and her stories are great. I don't expect I will ever write a story, I am not very talented, but I love to read them. I only read B/J, never B/M, and the longer the better.
Well, that's all for now. If there are technical errors in this I apologize, still learning.
Later
